Card Challenge
Here I am at last! Sorry for the long wait. This week has been a busy one, and amongst everything else my computer come down with a nasty bug.
Christmas is coming way too fast for me, this challenge is for those of us who are not so well organised and who have yet to make a Christmas card for a special person in our lives.
Below is a sketch for you, but please feel free to adapt it in any way you wish.
Our challenge to you is to use either a stamp (traditional or digital) or a cutout somewhere on your card'.
And decorate the inside of your card as well as the front!
To create my sketch I have used a digital stamp from Ingerharding, you can find it here.
Carol has created her take on the sketch using snow flakes which have been cut from glitter paper. The lovely embellishment on the front has been cut using a spellbinder shape.
The inside of her card is adorned with stamped images, by Tim Holtz, and more snow flakes. Delightful!
For my first take on my sketch I have used my all time favorite Christmas stamp, a Penny Black Hedgehog. |
I have used double sided paper on the inside of my card. |
and a piece of journal paper. |
Take two is a little more detailed, I have used cut out Christmas images and used an Anna Griffin stamp to create the background behind the images. |
I have used the same Anna Griffin stamp to decorate an old piece of note pad paper for the inside of my card. |
Looking forward to seeing your cards Last say to enter will be 12 pm 15th of December |

welcome back Sonia, its starting to move into that crazy time of year when you never have enough time lol I do hope we see some of your lovely cards girls
Im guessing everyone out there is busy doing all of the things that need to be done at this time of year!
Just wondering what was used on the corrugated card frame that looks like snow???
Hi Brenda..Happy New year to you.I am sure that Sonia used white puff paint, when you heat it,it puffs up.I got mine from spot light.Hope this helps.
Hi Brenda, and sorry I have not replied...I kind of took my eye off the ball over Christmas and New Year..Carol is right, I used Liquid Applique (from Spot-light)Its like a paint pen, you apply it, leave it over night and apply heat the next day....and yes it puffs up like snow.
Carol, thankyou for answering Brenda's question for me.
