Egyptian cat box

I started with a small box,then brought 3
stamps that
suited the style i was doing.I painted the in tire box with acrylic Matt black.
Once it has dried I worked out where i wonted the feature stamps to be placed,I used a roller to apply versermark to the stamp as i didn't wont the image to get flooded this helped keep as much detail as possible, once the image was stamped i covered it with gold embossing powder, taped of the excess, which left the image in gold, then i used a heat gun to set the embossing powder,I used the Egyptian cat to match my colours on the box so they matched,I continued this method using parts of other stamps i already had to get the desired look,to make the straight lines i used a removable sellotape as a mask.

I continued until i was happy with the amount of embossing.I then added a small amount of turquoise acrylic paint around the boarder of the lid and the boarder on the bottom of the box

Inside the lid i hand painted the symbol of eternity,in the center of this i added a name tag that i has engraved at the pet shop,i added a little of the gold embossing around the edge of this to match it to the outer circle.I than attached the Egyptian cat to the top of the box
